A Little Something on the Side - Mincemeat Tartlets
Some of the sweetest tea times start out savory. Especially when you use mincemeat that’s already prepared.
Mincemeat Tartlets
The Zen Master’s Pie Crust
for a single crust pie
Use 3 inch round cutter to make 9 tartlet shells
Push the discs into the cups of a 12 cup muffin pan
Mincemeat Filling
- 2 cups prepared mincemeat
- 1 tsp confectioner’s sugar
Spoon one level tablespoon of the mincemeat into each tartlet shell
Bake for 20 minutes or until the mincemeat is bubbling and the tart crusts are golden brown
Transfer to a wire rack to cool
Dust with confectioner’s sugar before serving
