Noon Mark Diner - Cherry Crumb Pie
Monday, October 1st, 2007
Penelope’s Pie Place of the Week comes to us from Noon Mark regular,
Steven Tanzer, from Westport, Connecticut who advised Penelope that,
“First of all you have to get Crumb. My favorite pie is the Cherry
Crumb. Every time I take my family to the Noon Mark we have a half
hour debate about which pie to get. I always say I love Cherry Crumb,
and my wife says she loves Pecan, so we only get Cherry Crumb
on my birthday. But you have to get Crumb.” In fact, Cherry Crumb
and Pecan are only the beginning of the amazing selection of
irresistible homemade pies at the scenic Noon Mark.
Surrounded by the incredibly beautiful Adirondack Mountains, the Noon
Mark Diner’s setting is as tasty as any of its homemade pies. To see
it for yourself, take a plane to Albany, New York and from there,
catch an Adirondack Trailways bus to Keene, which will drop you off
right at the front door of the Diner. Conveniently, the Noon Mark
Diner doubles as the area’s Adirondack Trailways bus station.
If you don’t have time to make your way to Keene Valley, the Noon
Mark Diner will ship its pies anywhere in the continental United
States. Check it out at Noon Mark Diner.
